Macbook App Download

I have always enjoyed playing Delta and I’ve had very few problems with them. However, they have the worst Internet service of any airline I have ever flown on virtually useless other than getting your email. Sorry that’s the way I feel.

I am currently sitting at my gate (fully checked in and through security), but the app still says that I am unable to check in. Luckily I have paper boarding passes, because the app is unable to show my boarding pass at all. Additionally, my earlier flight had a gate and seat change that the app did not show, which led to confusion during boarding.

This app and the Delta mobile experience is objectively terrible. I conducted a heuristic evaluation of this app one year ago for UX design school assignment and compared it to JetBlue, Hopper, and Kayak, which offer much better experiences for flight booking and management. Delta is still bottom of the barrel. Mobile web checkin is so problematic and the app isn’t much better. It is basic UI/UX design and engineering. Why can’t you get it right, Delta??

I checked In online and my boarding pass was stored on the app. I was first in line to board FIRST CLASS. The boarding pass vanished! People behind me were in a long line to board. The app demanded my password and fingerprint ID. My password is stored, not memorized so I was not able to log on. The desk agent had to print a boarding pass and I was last to board. This was embarrassing, frustrating and stressful.

Why have an app if it’s so nonfunctional that you still have to do everything through a web browser?

Since the last IOS update, the app doesn’t bother to show flight times when attempting to book a flight. Have to either click on details, or break out the PC. Tried deleting and restoring, powering off the phone, airplane mode… Trash.

I have had an account with Delta for 3 years. Got kicked out and had to re login. They tell me my information is wrong (it isn’t) and I have to do forget password/username. I do that and never get an email. FRUSTRATING. Haven’t had this problem with United!

Main cabin seat selection merely a game for delta employees to play with passengers. The app has a diagram of a plane with seat which are not selectable and the information not real time and likely made up! I suspect Delta is overbooking their planes.

Kept sending me multiple updates about my seat being chosen and my boarding pass being ready but everytime I went to go confirm my boarding pass it would say there was an error. Totally disliked this app

Delta is my favorite, and preferred, airline carrier, to the point that I work towards status every year. Their app is my least favorite of the major carriers. It is incredibly slow, glitch, and not as functional as its competitors.
